Frequently asked questions

Is PLLuM available to everyone?

Yes. PLLuM is released under an open licence and models are available for download on HuggingFace. Some models are subject to a non-commercial licence - see the Models section for details.

Do we need our own server to deploy PLLuM?

Yes. PLLuM runs on-premise on a server equipped with an NVIDIA GPU. This ensures that all data remains within your institution's own infrastructure. Hardware requirements are outlined in the Technical Requirements section.

How much does access to the model cost?

Access is free of charge. Depending on the model variant, the open licence permits use for educational, research and commercial purposes.

How does PLLuM ensure data security?

PLLuM runs exclusively on the infrastructure of the deploying institution - no data is transmitted to external servers. The open-source codebase enables full independent audit. The project is developed in compliance with both national and EU guidelines on artificial intelligence.
